Secura security cylinder locks

Modular design of the Secura security cylinder locks

Secura security cylinder locks have a modular design. They consist of the security cylinder lock and an interchangeable cylinder core.

The universal cylinder core is suitable for all Secura security cylinder lock types. Thanks to a variety of combinations, it can be used not only in keyed-alike systems but also in keyed-to-differ systems. Furthermore, the cylinder core possesses master key capability.

If the lock has to be changed, the cylinder core can be easily replaced using a removal key.

The solid non-serrated reversible flat key can be inserted into the cylinder core with ease, so enabling permanent user-friendly operation.

Two Secura security cylinder lock types are available for Supra:

The Secura security cylinder roller profile lock

The Secura security cylinder roller profile lock consists of two components: the actual security cylinder lock that is integrated into the roller profile of the front sash, and the adapter with which the locking bolt engages and that is screwed into the roller profile of the back sash.

The Secura roller profile lock uses an L-cam to bolt both roller profiles firmly together, so preventing the sashes from being forced apart. The sturdy, solid construction of the locking bolt prevents shearing.

The adapter has a movable adapter core that compensates for measurement differences of up to 3 mm in the direction of movement. The use of the adapter makes mechanical work on the opposite roller profile (e.g. drilling) unnecessary.

The measurements and surface design of the lock and adapter match the Supra roller profile and can, of course, be used on both the left and right-hand side in order to reduce stock levels.

The Secura security cylinder glass door lock with L-cam

The Secura security cylinder glass door lock with L-cam is fixed half-way up the sash for ease of operation. It is located on the front sash and, when locked, the L-cam engages with the rear sash. This prevents the glass doors from being forced apart horizontally half-way up the sash.

The special design of the knurled surface on the rear side, together with the PVC base, prevents the housing from being twisted on the sash.

The lock is available in natural aluminium and alinox.
